OUR STORY

Brinter began with a bold question:

What if human tissue could be 3D bioprinted like something out of science fiction?

Blade Runner

2018

Founded in Finland in 2018 by serial tech founder CEO Tom Alapaattikoski and Tomi Kalpio, a automotive manufacturing plant inventor, Brinter was inspired by sci-fi worlds seen in Blade Runner (’82), The Fifth Element (’97), and Westworld (’16) — stories where tech rebuilds the human body.

BRINTER 3D BIOPRINTER

2021

In 2021, after completing its multi-material 3D bioprinting platform, Brinter moved its HQ to the US to pioneer regenerative 3D bioprinted implants. Despite immense R&D challenges in both mechanical and biological engineering, Brinter remained committed to the grand vision.

Rotator Cuff Implant

2026

Today, in 2026, Brinter is fast approaching the commercialization of the first-ever 3D bioprinted regenerative implant in the United States. Our mission is simple: to make regenerative implants for the entire human body accessible to everyone.
