I’m Gemma Nomdedeu-Sancho, and I’m a Ph.D. student at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. I recently joined Brinter as a Scientific Communications Intern, where I will be in charge of making cartilage biology and bioprinting knowledge available to all audiences, regardless of their scientific background. Did you know that adult cartilage cannot regenerate by itself after injury? As someone very interested in regenerative medicine, I am excited to learn and communicate about new ways to replace and restore harmed cartilage in a personalized manner.
